Come to Heady NJ’s Underground Legacy to Legal Forum on January 11, 2025!
It will be from 1-5 pm at the Take Off Lounge in Newark, NJ at 51 Austin Street! The lounge is very close to McCarter Highway/Route 21 near the heart of Newark!
While the state-legal New Jersey adult use recreational cannabis industry was launched in April 2022, in reality there had been a market for decades.
Many good people bought quality cannabis products from honest underground legacy entrepreneurs who did their best to satisfy their customers.
One of the goals of New Jersey cannabis legalization was to bring the underground legacy operators into the legal market. But that is easier said than done.
Now that the legal market has been flourishing, we have successful examples of the legacy to legal path!

“Legacy” is the preferred term for those who operated in the underground market. But it is not well known out of the organized New Jersey cannabis industry and community among the broader cannabis consumers.
