Personal Details

  • About Me I’ve always believed that life is an adventure, and I’ve been fortunate to live mine with passion, creativity, and a thirst for exploration. In 1982, I joined my husband, Mark Schulze, at the helm of Crystal Pyramid Productions, a company he founded a year earlier. Together, we grew it into one of San Diego’s premier video production companies, producing award-winning content across a wide range of topics. From corporate projects to documentaries like Full Cycle: A World Odyssey and NECTARBALL: The Story of Cannabis, we’ve always strived to tell compelling stories that educate, inspire, and entertain.

My love for adventure extends beyond the camera. I’ve been a mountain biker since 1986, competing in races and pushing my limits on trails around the world. I was honored to be among the first women to participate in the Mt. Everest Mountain Bike Rally, an unforgettable experience that blended culture, endurance, and the pure joy of riding. Even in my late sixties, I continue to race, securing back-to-back victories at the Sagebrush Safari—proving that age is just a number when it comes to doing what you love.

I’ve also had the privilege of pioneering extreme sports videography, capturing the essence of action sports long before GoPros and drones made it commonplace. This journey earned me the title “Grandmother of Extreme Sports Videos” and the People’s Choice Award for Pioneer in Sports & Entertainment from San Diego Magazine—recognition that humbles me, knowing how many incredible storytellers and athletes have paved the way alongside me.

Beyond video production and mountain biking, my creativity takes many forms. I’m a writer, poet, and musician, channeling my experiences into songs and multimedia projects. As an advocate for cannabis plant medicine, I’ve explored its role in wellness and healing, incorporating it into my personal journey and creative work.

Through all of this, my greatest joy is sharing stories—whether through film, the written word, or the trails I ride. Life has been an incredible journey, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to keep creating, exploring, and inspiring others to follow their own paths of adventure.
