#Do  #Don't  #Posting

There are no exact image specs for posting. Typically the image is pulled automatically if you post a link to an article. If you are manually uploading an image, the images are horizontal in nature with close to a 2-1 perspective, twice as wide as tall. The site resizes it automatically if you’re anywhere close to that. You can also upload a video that will start automatically when your post is viewed.

Do's:

* Fill out your profile completely, so as to give other members all the information that might motivate them to connect with you.

* Ask a member for a PRO invite. PRO membership is free, but by invitation only. Feel free to ask any PRO member for an invitation.

* Always be respectful and considerate of other members’ views and opinions. You probably won’t agree with every comment you see, and that’s what makes a vibrant, diverse community.

* Limit your content to topics related to cannabis, hemp and psychedelics.

* Always include a graphic image in your post to encourage engagement with your content.

* Always include a weblink to your web site or the item you are posting about.

* Support other members’ posts by liking and commenting.

* Promote your product or service.

* Post your upcoming event for free in the Events Calendar.

* Post useful news and information related to your product or service.

* Post informative items not related to your business but potentially interesting to other members.

* Invite members to connect and network with you (Hint: Always include a brief but respectful note along with your invitation.)

* Focus on ways to help other members achieve their goals and objectives. Networking is not all about you. Your ability and willingness to assist others will pay huge dividends for you.

* Comment substantively and thoughtfully on other member’s posts, or use the various emoticons to support them.

* As with any online platform, be cautious with your personal information when networking with other members!

** Have fun! Our industry doesn’t have to be so serious!

Dont's:

* Attempting to sell illegal products or drugs on Leafwire WILL get you banned.

** Yes, that means no promoting cannabis flower or vapes to individuals on the site. THC is still a Schedule I narcotic and federally illegal. Of course, Leafwire is a great place to develop relationships to promote your products, but Leafwire cannot facilitate any illegal activity on the platform itself.

* Promote illegal activity of any kind.

* Promote crypto currency schemes.

* Post profane or abusive content in the feed.

* Randomly connect with members with sales pitches for your product or service (Hint: focus on networking and helping others).

* PRO tip: As with LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc, never randomly post “piggy-back” links to your business on other people’s posts. If you want to post about your business, feel free to do that, but if another member takes the time to prepare a post. please do not “step on their post” just to promote your business.
